This is a collaboration between me AnnaCarina and Yumi. We first met at an online course to learn calligraphy flourishes. At the beginning of the course we were all encouraged to introduce ourselves on a discussion board and that´s when we first communicated. We kept in touch after the course was over - giving feedback to each other´s work, sharing knowledge and information, chatting about struggles and exchanging snail mail.
We have been supporting and encouraging each other as like-minded creatives. What makes our communication more meaningful is that our strengths are in different areas.
We started to have a weekly creative chat via zoom, sharing our knowledge and constructive feedback to one another. We both like each other´s work - I like her calligraphy style and Yumi likes my illustration and watercolour. It wasn´t difficult for us to know what we wanted: a combination of my illustration/watercolour and Yumi´s calligraphy.
